BASIC REFRAME 3 - Prioritising Important items or issues Name[text,r_name,30] Email [text,r_email,30] PRIORITISE After you’ve surveyed the five different areas of your life in relation to the main issues of upset, you then sift through and identify up to seven of the items, issues, emotions, behaviours you’d like to work on for change. The priority format is to allow you to work through an identification process where you order the issues that affect you in terms of which is more upsetting for you. You could be more upset in one area than others. This is a fairly practical aspect. The only thing you need to when comparing is to choose in any one choice which of the pair you're looking at is more important. Sorting out the Priority of things ==================================================================== -------------------------------------------------------------------- Directions: 1. First identify up to SEVEN of what you feel are the most important issues or items to prioritise 2. Write them one each into each of the 7 text boxes and note the NUMBER of the box as that number will refer to that item. 3. Below the list of items you will see a selection scale. The first set is for comparing item 1 to all other 6 items. You compare item 1 with item 2 as to which is more important in terms of what you seek. Make a selection of which is more important. 4. After selecting your dominant items for each level of the scale, count up how many 1s are showing, how many 2s etc. 5. Put the score for each item in the relevant scoring box. 6. Finally you put the items down in the last set of 7 text boxes in order of their scoring. The top scorer is at the top and so on... WHEN you get to there you have prioritised the 7 (or less) items. Don't worry if some scored equally they'll be equally important regardless of which is done.
