MODULE 2 is the first in a series of three: Philosophy of REBT; Theory of REBT; Practice of REBT. They take you through to where you can use these skills as life-skills. The Module 2 course introduces you to the philosophy (basic ideas) of shaping up your life using Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT).

This course steps you through the basics or theory of the ABC of REBT. By the end of the course you'll have a clear idea of how to understand yourself in terms of your self-talk and how REBT works to assist you to be happier. In this 7 Lesson Course you will learn about the ideas which drive the REBT cognitive-behavioural model. Doing this course as your first step to picking up practice REBT skills is a good way to lay an effective foundation of self-helping skills that will impact you and those you are in relationship with. It covers the core helpful principles and prepares you for the theory course. L = Living fully and balancing your long and short-term goals. E = Every human is error prone - including you! A = Anti-self-downing. Against judging, condemning or rating yourself and others as a whole person while still measuring and rating your and their behaviours.
