06 JOURNAL SUPPORT approach


This option is to offer support for up to FIVE EMAIL JOURNAL interactions. Your journalling will be read and responded to with tutoring and counselling from the Counsellor who will monitor your journal. The Counsellor has many different forms of journal depending on the initial assessment process.

Keeping an online journal is a very pro-active way of beginning to help yourself. Interactions can simply be email to email and other links provided for resource, study, self-reflection. The Counsellor - client relationship is one of tutor-pupil. You can also register for your own private space on our Message Board to journal privately with Counsellor support. This is useful for followup after a LEARNING HOW course where You may use a structured journal format which is designed to help identify faulty thinking patterns. The Counsellor works with you to help YOU spot them for yourself and take responsibility for those you can change. The counsellor will help you to determine some effective personal interventions to alter faulty thinking patterns.

  4. You'll do an initial self-survey and profile of anxiety and depressive aspects
  5. You'll be monitored and responded to by your mentor counsellor.
