05 HOW do we UPSET ourselves with our thinking?

This is a golden opportunity if you've clicked into this area by mistake. This will show you how you may be UPSETTING yourself in some common ways explained as key steps to creating an upset... Read on by clicking this link.

HOW CAN I SUCCEED in maintaining HOW I UPSET MY SELF?

FIRST
Take time to focus on your SELF, another PERSON or PERSONS, or LIFE, or even GOD in terms of UNMET EXPECTATIONS in which you feel blocked or failure.

NEXT Evaluations
Flavour your expectations by giving them a high rating of Importance and Urgency BY doing the following...

  1. EXAGGERATE or MAXIMISE through an overestimated assumption of how bad your situation could become. (make sure you don't compare it to a real catastrophe in case it appears less bad)

  2. MINIMISE or UNDER-ESTIMATE how well you are going to cope with the discomfort, frustration or emotional hurt you are experiencing. (make sure you don't weigh up the benefits and cost of enduring)

  3. GIVE NEGATIVE LABELS to YOUR SELF, OTHERS, or LIFE holding that they or you are seriously NOT OK (make sure you do not check it out for truth or consider it might be inaccurate).

  4. PROMOTE or UPGRADE something you merely WANT or DESIRE to a category of an ABSOLUTE NEED that MUST be supplied without FAIL! (make sure you do not check out the proof that its possible)

LASTLY
Simply wait, because it is a virtual winner, or inevitable one of those fallible human beings out there, including YOU, or LIFE, or whatever you have made your god, will FALL SHORT of your ROYAL expectation.

IF THIS is NOT what you want, but instead you want to work out how to STOP being UPSET then use the advice in the brackets to reduce the distortions in your thinking.

Obviously this advice is given tongue in cheek, to provoke you to think about how your own thinking may be majorly contributing to the quality of how you are responding to life, other people and that person in the mirror.
